“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms... so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.” -1 Peter 4:10-11

  • Regarding children’s ministry, I have served as the kids’ ministry intern at a church and worked at Pine Cove City Camp as a counselor for elementary-age girls. Both experiences were life-changing! I facilitated activities for the kids, whether it was yard games outside or in the Sunday school room. I created curriculum and taught children the gospel, showing them how much Jesus loves them. These two experiences helped me learn what it means to have a ‘child-like faith,’ as Jesus said.

  • Regarding student ministry, I spent the past summer on St. Simons Island, Georgia, working for a non-profit called The Gathering Place. The Gathering Place is an organization that reaches lost middle and high school students, equips them with the gospel, and sends them out to make disciples. I spearheaded and coordinated events for middle school students and mentored and discipled high school girls through daily interactions and structured programs. Currently, I am serving as the middle school small group leader at my church’s Wednesday night Youth Service.

  • Regarding worship ministry,  I have been a part of different worship teams since high school. I was on the youth group worship team for our Wednesday nights, sang on Sundays for the children when I was the kids’ ministry intern, sang on my college worship team, and now lead worship for the middle and high school students at my church.
